I am -Jerusalem born- Palestinian refugee living in exile for over 40 years.
I was forced to leave my homeland, Palestine at the age of seven during the six-day war.

I am a mathematician by profession but art is one of my favourite pastimes, I love hand-made things, so I make dolls, cards, and most of my own clothes.

I also write poetry, and participate in dialogues with known and unknown friends as I believe that communication is the first step of understanding, I believe in building bridges not walls.
My shy and extra sensitive nature hinders me from public speaking, so I try to compensate for my shortcomings by writing!
I started writing about three years ago when my friends insisted I should write about my memories, experiences, and my feelings as a Palestinian.

I did… but it all came out -for some strange reason- sounding -as I was told- like poetry!

So I self published two books (I Believe in Miracles, and Palestine, The True Story)

    I don't know if you have informations about the West-Eastern Diwan Orchestra, israelo-palestinian musicians with Daniel Barenboim. They performed in Ramallah several times and perform all around the world. There's a video and an interview on my space about this, so I invite you to visit it and please, let me a comment...

    Artık demir almak günü gelmişse zamandan,

    Meçhûle giden bir gemi kalkar bu limandan.

    Hiç yolcusu yokmuş gibi sessizce alır yol;

    Sallanmaz o kalkışta ne mendil ne de bir kol.

    Rıhtımda kalanlar bu seyâhatten elemli,

    Günlerce siyâh ufka bakar gözleri nemli.

    Bîçâre gönüller! Ne giden son gemidir bu!

    Hicranlı hayâtın ne de son mâtemidir bu!

    Ramadhan Kareem,
    May ALLAH `Azzawajalla make us among the ones who worship HIM
    sincerely and with a pure heart, the ones who do everything for HIS sake only.

    As it is a blessed month of Ramadhan, I humblely request for both, those who have know me personally and who don`t, to forgive me for any of my shortcomings or for anything that I have said or done that may have offended you and hurt your kind feelings.

    Please keep me in your du`as and also please remember our brother and sister in Islam around the world who are less fortunate than we are, and those who are suffering at the hands of the kuffar.

    May ALLAH `Azzawajalla gave us the strength and energy to fullfill this month of obligation in our utmost best piety and with serenity and accept all our deeds, and may HE shower HIS Infinite Mercy and Blessing on the entire ummah. ALLAHumma amiin.

    I´m passin´to wish you a beautiful week, plenty of peace and quite hopeful. We all must build a better world, grain by grain, step by step... no matter how can we suffer in the way we walk... Freedom, liberty and dignity, with solidarity, they´re the words that ever must become facts, everyday facts...
